WFA can help communities and land management agencies discuss forest health and wildland fire issues in a manner that will lead to proactive solutions to the growing threat of destructive wildfires and ecologically sustainable forest health initiatives.
Our goal is to help identify the concerns and land management objectives of a broad array of stakeholders including community residents, business owners, advocacy organizations, and land managers. Once the concerns and objectives are identified, we will help guide the group in achieving a consensus on effective mitigation of wildfire hazards and other forest health problems.
WFA Collaborative Facilitators are former career land managers with extensive experience in problem solving and working with communities to deal with wildfire mitigation issues. Through our extensive network of contacts, our facilitators can identify sources of outside expertise and arrange for subject matter experts to provide information for the decision process. WFA can provide:
- Meeting & Agenda Preparation
- Facilitation During the Meeting
- A Post-Meeting Report
- Draft & Final Plans
- Subject Matter Experts
